About Convertify

A/B testing for Shopify that counts the money. We pick the winner by profit per visitor, not by clicks.
What Convertify is
Convertify is an A/B testing app for Shopify stores. It runs a test, counts what each variant earned after costs, and tells you in plain words which version to ship.
It covers 8 test types: AI-built page edits, templates, whole themes, prices, shipping rates, offers, checkout and split URLs. Around the tests sit heatmaps, session replays and funnels, so you can see why a variant won and not only that it did.
Why we built it
Most testing tools crown the variant with the best conversion rate. A discount can win on conversions and still lose money once product costs, shipping and ad spend come out. A store that ships that winner grows its order count and shrinks its margin.
So Convertify scores every test on gross margin per visitor (GMPV): revenue minus COGS, discounts, refunds, shipping and ad spend, divided by visitors. The winner is the variant that earned more per visitor, with Bayesian statistics behind the call and a sample check before it is made.
Who it is for
Shopify brands that care about margin, and the agencies and operators who run testing for them. You install the app from Shopify, turn on the app embed, and build variants on your real theme. There is no code to paste.
- Merchants who want to test prices, offers and shipping, not only page layouts.
- Teams without a developer on call, who build variants with the AI on-store editor.
- Operators who work through an AI assistant. The MCP server exposes 80 tools so Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor can read results and draft, validate and launch tests. See the developer docs.
How we work
- Flat pricing. Three plans at a flat monthly fee, billed through Shopify, each with a 7-day free trial. We never take a cut of your orders. See pricing.
- Your control is your real store. The AI editor works on a copy. Nothing goes live until you accept it.
- Honest numbers. Your own editor and preview traffic is excluded on the server, and a test is not called before it has enough data.
- Careful with data. We collect first-party behavior and order data to compute profit per visitor. Details are in the privacy policy.
Radar
Radar is our free tool for seeing what other Shopify stores are testing. It watches public storefronts, captures what changes and turns it into test ideas. It reports what it observed and does not claim to know which variant won. Read the methodology or scan a store.
